Manurewa High School Example
Photography is often about capturing what we see, but it can also reveal what is left behind—the traces of people, places, and moments that shape who we are. In this project, we will use the cyanotype process as both a literal and metaphorical way to explore personal identity, memory, and the marks we leave on the world. Our theme for this assessment is Traces. A cyanotype leaves a physical trace of the objects placed on its surface, much like our lives are shaped by the traces of our experiences, relationships, and heritage.
