Caroline Pegg – The Year that was! Tackling L1 changes’

The intention of this discussion is to share the experience of delivering the Y11 program during 2024. To do so it will begin with a more formal presentation of work done – challenges and successes of what we worked through, with a view to engaging participants in an active discussion of their own reflections. The aim is to collaboratively and purposefully critique both the work presented and approaches taken alongside the experiences of others and their programs. Participants would be expected to be willing to contribute and are invited to bring printed examples of their programs to enrich the discussion. For those participating, the benefit of attending would be twofold: firstly, being given the opportunity to see and share in a supportive space the experiences of delivering the NCEA L1 changes and secondly, to come away with a broader sense of what is possible having heard the approaches and responses of colleagues.
