As an assessment, Achievement Standard 91912 (1.1) presents an opportunity for ākonga to participate actively and authentically in a practice based visual inquiry. Ākonga will use visual arts processes, materials, and techniques to record visual and cultural elements from a Māori context, and another cultural context. Through the visual inquiry process, ākonga can explore the intergenerational connections between people, places, and objects.
